Special Talk on Being a Non-White Composer at The American University

As part of The American University’s Department of Performing Arts, Rodríguez has been invited as a guest speaker for the Applied Music Performance Lab to offer a talk on his experience as a composer of color in the United States. He will be offering his talk on November 4th followed by a masterclass in composition to selected graduate students of the composition department.
