La Flauta Latinoamericana International Flute Competition • Rodríguez’s Críptico No.6 for Solo Flute

The Flauta Latinoamericana (The Latin-American Flute) is an international competition for young flutists from any nationality around the world. It is focused on the highlight and disseminate the richness of the flute repertoire by Latin-American composers.

  • The competition is open for flutists of any nationality 

  • Age limit: 28 years old as November 15, 2020

  • The competition will be entirely online and all its rounds will be broadcast through Facebook Live.

  • At the time of the application, each contestant must submit the selected repertoire in YouTube video links.

From all of Latin-America, the competition will feature a repertoire from which the participants have to select, prepare, and record in video for their submission. Many countries are represented including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Argentina, Chile and Puerto Rico with Rodríguez’s Críptico No.6 for solo flute.
