Glass Clouds Ensemble presents the world premiere of Rodríguez’ Another Season for soprano and string quartet.

Iván Enrique Rodríguez has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious 2025 96-Hour Opera Festival, where he will collaborate with librettist Laura Barati to create a 10-minute opera in just 96 hours. The festival culminates in a public showcase on June 21, 2025, at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center, with the winning team receiving a $25,000 commission for a future one-act opera.

On September 29th, NYFOS will host "Learning, Fast and Slow," a concert that explores the journey of self-discovery through diverse music, featuring compositions that reflect on aging, repetition, and identity, featuring a performance of "Mamá María" by Rodríguez.

White Snakes Projects commissioned Rodríguez’s new art song The Beauty in Me for their upcoming presentation of Sing Out Strong: Incarcerated Voices. Rodríguez’s art song, with text by inmate W.E. Peebels, who has been sentenced to the death penalty, will be sung by award-winning baritone Brandon Bell.

Mezzo-soprano Myka Murphy offers the world premiere of Rodríguez’ ¡Oh Mar, no Esperes Más! art song; composed and dedicated to Murphy herself.

The Brilliant Baritone Gregory Feldmann celebrates his Graduation Recital The Flute of Interior Time, a liturgical recital for a changing demographic. The program will include works by Poulenc, Harbison, Vaughan Williams and Rodríguez’ Alabaster Thread.
