The concert will hold performances from works by all the composers including the World Premiere of two of Rodríguez’ Epístolas for solo piano performed by the Puerto Rican virtuoso pianist Rolando Antonio Alejandro. The concert will take place in Concert Room 309 at The Juilliard School in Lincoln Center.

Rodríguez’ Epistolas (Epistles) are a series of short piano pieces in the form of letters either establishing or answering an initial correspondence with a specific feeling or emotion. The Epístolas have been a long term project still in composition and although each of them are stand alone pieces, they are connected to each other in different ways. With seven movements already completed, Alejandro will premiere Nos. 1 & 5.
